About this Event
In this event in the Jewish Studies Speaker Series, Stephani Richards-Wilson, Ph.D.. Ed.D., discusses German student martyrs in The White Rose and their transatlantic legacy. She will explain why their story still matters, specifically highlighting Willi Graf’s perspective when, in 1942, he wrote, “Every individual bears full responsibility,” asking, “What can ordinary individuals do to make the world a more just and humane place?” She will conclude with an update about the canonization process for Willi Graf within the Roman Catholic Church.
This event is sponsored by the Jewish Studies department and and Religious Studies Speaker Series.
