On the Verge or The Geography of Yearning: A Staged Reading is written by Eric Overmyer and directed by Timothy Curtis. Among the most imaginative works of the 20th century, Eric Overmyer’s On the Verge or The Geography of Yearning captivates with its abundant invention. Three Victorian lady travelers take it upon themselves to discover the mystery of exploration and connections as they set out for Terra Incognita and discover unique times and locations.

Please prepare a contemporary monologue (1-2 minutes in length) and be prepared to read from the script. Monologues need not be memorized.
