Michael Vyborny

At the age of 15, Michael Vyborny started his Holocaust studies scholarship by focusing on studies about concentration camps (the guards, aspects of daily life in the concentration camps and killing centres, and prisoner functionaries). Michael has interviewed more than 30 survivors of the Holocaust.

 

Additionally, he wrote an introduction to a book about Reinhard Heydrich, the Chief of the Reichssicherheitshauptamt; RSHA, and in 2021, he wrote an essay for A History of the Holocaust: A Guide for the Community College Student: The Second Edition by Wendy Adele-Marie, Ph.D., and Distinguished Professor of History at Oakton.

 

Additionally, Michael has also presented twice on his work on Irma Grese at The Malach Center for Visual History in Prague, Czech Republic.
