In this lecture, scholar Michal Vyborny will explore the crimes and duties of Irma Grese, a notorious SS-Aufseherin (female overseer, or guard) during the Holocaust. He will address the ongoing exaggerations about her, present his latest research on her roles in various camps, including recently discovered testimonies and documents. Grese remains one of the most infamous and genocidal women who worked in the Nazi killing centres.
