Oakton College's B.L.A.C.K. Student Success Program (BSSP) invites you to an interactive Art+Activism workshop in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy of nonviolent resistance and social change.  

 

Oakton's Director of Institutional Equity and Inclusion, Rick Daniels, Ph.D., and Will Crawford professor of English will speak about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s message and its relevance to today. Explore the power of art as a tool for activism and learn practical skills to create impactful messages for positive change with Janeen Jackson BSSP's Equity Coordinator. 

 

This workshop is open to the community. Come use your creativity to make a difference.
