The Oakton String Ensemble, directed by Daniel Golden, will celebrate the holiday season with an uplifting concert featuring the Concerto Grosso Op. 6 No. 5 by Corelli, Winter from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, the famous Waltz from Tchaikovsky’s String Serenade, Samuel Barber’s powerful Adagio for Strings and evocative music by Danish composer Carl Nielsen.
