DESCRIPTION:Day of Silence\, held in April\, is a day-long vow of silence t
 aken by students\, staff\, and faculty to symbolically represent the silenc
 ing of LGBTQIA2+ community members. This year's Day of Silence is observed 
 on Friday\, April 4.\n\n \n\nNight of Noise is an event that follows the Da
 y of Silence. This is a time for students\, staff\, and faculty to break th
 e silence and celebrate their identities. This year\, Oakton's Night of Noi
 se Drag Show is on April 11. Admission is free\; cash donations for perform
 ers are welcome. The LGBTQIA2+ Advisory Council is excited to feature four 
 performers: Spade Slick\, Synthetic\, Chifaguette\, and Chanel Mercedes Ben
 z. Join them in celebrating the wonderful diverse and intersectional identi
 ties that make Oakton College so special!
