The Oakton Library and the B.L.A.C.K. Student Success Program invite you to a compelling book discussion series featuring Black Birds in the Sky: The Story and Legacy of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre by award-winning author Brandy Colbert. Together, we’ll explore history, memory, and the lasting impact of this pivotal moment in American history. The book discussion series takes place on Thursday, January 29, February 5, 12, and 19 at the DP Learning Commons, Room 2425, from 12 - 2:00 p.m.
A special author visit takes place on February 26 from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. in the Student Center, Room 1530, and via Zoom. Please register.
