Oakton College hosts a conference for area employers interested in learning more about how AI might affect their industry and workforce needs in the coming years. Small and midsize employers are especially encouraged to attend.
The conference begins with a short presentation of how Oakton is addressing the changing needs of the workforce with our Essentials Applications of AI certificate and the work-based learning opportunities we are supporting through an ICCB Trades School grant. The conference will then feature a keynote presentation entitled "AI and Health: What we've Learned and where we need to go," by Ngan MacDonald, Director and Chief of Data Operations for the Institute for AI in Medicine at The Feinberg School of Medicine.
